Annual Volunteer Awards

Each year Football New Brunswick honors individuals at its Annual Volunteer Awards. We have the following categories:

  • Volunteer of the year – U12
  • Volunteer of the year – U14
  • Volunteer of the year – U16
  • Volunteer of the year- Girls Football
  • Volunteer of the year- Adult Football
  • Volunteer of the year – Flag/Touch Football
  • Gridiron Award (Overall contribution to the sport of football and does not apply to one particular age group or gender)
  • Long Time Service Award (15+ years)

Lifetime Service Award

Football New Brunswick periodically honors those who have made “significant” long term (25 years) contributions  in either, coaching, officiating or building the game of football.  In some cases the award is also presented to individuals who have made an “outstanding” contribution over a shorter time period. Past Presidents of Football New Brunswick automatically qualify.  Lifetime Service Award recipients are presented with the Football New Brunswick ring and their significant other receives the Football New Brunswick pendant.

Award Criteria:

Nominees can include coaches, administrators, managers, officials etc. The nominated person has made a major contribution to the betterment of football in New Brunswick. Submissions must include specific examples, where
applicable in areas such as:

  • Player development
  • Program development
  • Coaching development
  • Competitive level of achievement
  • Commitment
  • Promotion and advancement of athletes
  • Ongoing development of NCCP certification and philosophy
