The Moncton Flag Football League (MFFL) is an adult league (18+) open to all genders. Teams play on a weekly basis in a competitive and fun environment. This league does involve isolated contact. Blocking is allowed at and behind the line of scrimmage to protect the quarterback. One blocker per rusher only. Blockers may not advance to the rushers. They must wait for them at or behind the line of scrimmage. No downfield blocking.
This league is operated under Football New Brunswick (FNB). All participants are insured under the Football Canada insurance policy and must abide by the rules and policies outlined by FNB.
What to expect this year?
- Paid Officials – Each game has NBFOA Officials. No more forcing athletes to officiate.
- Teamlinkt Website – Registration, standings, scores. All in one place.
- Individual Registration – Everyone pays individually. Payment plans available.
- Choice – Athletes can register to a team, or choose to be a ‘Free Agent’ to fill out rosters.
- Prize Money – Winner takes home $750. Second $250.
- Football Canada Rules – Contact’s still in. Most rules match international 5v5 standards.
- Football Canada Tournaments – Sanctioned league. Teams eligible for Senior Nationals.
- Mondays 9-11pm at the Sportsdome. Starting November 24, 2025.
Season Structure
Regular season will be round robin play with each team facing every other team. Playoffs will be two (2) weeks and determine full final seeding from top to bottom.
Season Dates
Season starts Monday, November 24, 2025. Season length depends on number of teams but will be concluded in early February prior to Monday February 23, 2026.
Season Game Block Times
- Mondays – November 24: Two (2) game blocks from 9-11pm. Both Fields.
- Mondays – December 1, 8 and 15: Two (2) game blocks weekly from 9-11pm. Both Fields.
- Mondays – January 5, 12, 19, 26: Two (2) game blocks weekly from 9-11pm. Both Fields.
- Mondays – February 2, 9, 23: Two (2) game blocks weekly from 9-11pm. Both Fields.

All games at the Moncton Sportsdome: 125 Russ Howard Drive, Moncton
Fees: $250 per person
To register to play, there are two options:
1. Already have your team? Have your team captain contact Nick Murray and he will send each team member a registration code.
2. Don’t have a team? Congratulations on hitting the free agent market! Register below and we will assign you to a team.
Note: you can add notes about who you would like to play with if you have other friends registering but not enough for a team.
La MFFL est une ligue adulte (18+). Doit être né(e) en 2008 ou avant. Ouvert à tous les genres. Les équipes jouent chaque semaine dans un environnement compétitif et amusant. Cette ligue comporte des contacts isolés. **Les blocs sont permis à la ligne de mêlée ou derrière celle-ci afin de protéger le QB. Un seul bloqueur est autorisé par rusher. Les bloqueurs ne peuvent pas avancer vers les rushers. Ils doivent les attendre à ou derrière la ligne de mêlée. Aucun blocage en profondeur n’est permis.**
Structure de la saison
La saison régulière se jouera en ronde robin, chaque équipe affrontera toutes les autres. Les séries éliminatoires dureront deux (2) semaines et détermineront le classement final complet du haut vers le bas.
Dates de la saison
La saison débute le lundi 24 novembre 2025. Sa durée dépendra du nombre d’équipes inscrites, mais se terminera au début de février, avant le lundi 23 février 2026.

Tous les lundis de 21h à 23h, sur deux terrains:
- 24 novembre: Deux blocs de matchs
- 1, 8, 15 décembre: Deux blocs de matchs par soir
- 5, 12, 19, 26 janvier: Deux blocs de matchs par soir
- 2, 9, 23 février: Deux blocs de matchs par soir
Tous les matchs auront lieu au Moncton SportsDome: 125, promenade Russ Howard, Moncton (NB), E1C 0L7
Cette ligue est opérée sous la gouverne de Football Nouveau-Brunswick (FNB). Tous les participants sont assurés par la police d’assurance de Football Canada et doivent respecter les règles et politiques établies par FNB.
