Interlock Fair Play & 2 Way Play Policy

Process For Reporting Fair Play Policy Violations

Football New Brunswick is committed to fair play. Any coach, parent, player, or spectator may submit a Fair Play Violation Report.

We recognize that apparent policy breaches sometimes occur due to legitimate circumstances, such as player health or safety concerns. To prevent unnecessary reports, all teams must follow this step-by-step resolution process:

Step 1: Pre-Game Communication

If a coach knows in advance that circumstances will prevent them from adhering to the Fair Play Policy, they must notify the opposing coach and game officials before kick-off to explain the situation.

Step 2: In-Game / Half-Time Communication

If an unexpected situation arises during the first half that affects fair play:

  • The coach must clarify their reasoning at half-time.
  • This discussion should occur between the two head coaches or between the coach and the field executive monitor.
Step 3: Formal Escalation

If open communication does not resolve the issue, you are encouraged to file a formal report:

Football NB will review the report and distribute it to the respective minor football associations for further review or disciplinary action.

Submit the Fair Play Violation Report directly to Football New Brunswick.
