About 2024 U14 Program
The U14 program is a developmental pathway for athletes interested in playing football at an elite level.
This programs mission is to provide all players with the fundamental skills to help them achieve their full potential. Players are going to be introduced to high performance schedules, practices and competition through a developmental process. Every athlete will leave the program with a much greater knowledge and understanding of high performance football and what to expect as they go through the U16 and U18 provincial team programs.
The U14 Football Program is open to players born in 2011 and 2012 and is a beginner level entry point to high performance sport.

Each athlete will be given every opportunity to try out at the position of their choice, BUT signing up for a certain position does not guarantee that the athlete will play that position. Football New Brunswick and each High Performance Coaching Staff reserves the right to move players to different positions based on team needs for team success.
It is important to note that equal playing time is not guaranteed in High Performance programming.

Program Details
Equipment
All camps will require gear including mouth guards. Players are to register for their minor Spring programs to receive football equipment.
Players who live in surrounding areas such as; Sackville, St. Stephen, Sussex and Miramichi are not required to register for Spring football to attend U14 tryouts and should contact their association about equipment.
Players residing within the Capital Area
- a player from the Capital Area can either register for Spring Flag and receive their equipment or pay a rental fee of $150 at our registration checkout
PRovincial Team Fee Breakdown
The U14 program will involve a developmental phase and and competition phase. Below is a breakdown of the two phases:
Development Camp – $275
Fee includes: 14 hours of on field instruction, film study, t-shirt and Football NB practice jersey.
Competition Phase (45 Athletes) – $525 (Due May 25)
Fee includes: 14 hours of on field instruction, film study, 2 games against Nova Scotia and Team NB clothing package.
Fundraising Opportunity Raffle – Players will be given raffle tickets to sell to help cover the registration fees. More details will be provided at a later date. |
